I crack my knuckles as I stand next to the bubbling espresso machine. I watch the coffee boil into the cup and once it's three-quarters full I set it aside, grab the second cup and stick it under the spout. I walk back to my bed on the couch and quickly fold the sheets. Though this morning like yesterday morning (and the morning before that and the morning before that) they're un-slept in. I fold them up anyway, keeping up appearances I guess. I smirk at the ridiculous of it. I walk back to the coffee and set it aside. Robin waltzes in on cue.
